Pictures & Poems is an ongoing public art project disseminated via lo-fi print publications (editions of 2,000) and public exhibitions. If you are interested in hosting a public installation in your community of photographs alongside poems, please write to info@littleoakpress.com or info@jdcfineart.com.
The installations are printed on water-resistant adhesive polypropylene materials and are meant to be installed in public spaces for maximum engagement with a wide audience. The publications can be placed in gas stations, church foyers, doctor's office lobby's, at the entrance to a rest stop. The intention is to reach underserved audiences who generally do not have access to art publications and museums.
This project was initially funded in-part by the Humanities Facilitating Fund from the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences at the George Washington University.
